EOR Canada — Hire Canadians Without Setting Up an Entity

Bridgewater TI provides Employer of Record (EOR) services in Canada for companies that need a compliant, fast way to employ Canadian staff.

We handle contracts, payroll, benefits, and local tax filings — so you can build your team without the burden of managing regulations on your own.

A Canadian Employer of Record (EOR) is a trusted third party that legally employs workers on your behalf. The EOR becomes the official employer on paper, handling payroll, taxes, benefits, contracts, and compliance with Canadian labour laws. This saves you time and resources, so you can focus on managing your team and getting your Canadian hires up and running quickly.

Who We Support

FAQs

What's the difference between EOR and PEO services in Canada?

The main difference between EOR and PEO services is who the legal employer is, and who is therefore responsible for ensuring that employment, tax and health and safety regulations are followed. If a company does not have a legal entity in Canada, they cannot be the legal employer and will need to work with an EOR. Canada PEO services are typically used by companies who have a Canada legal entity but don’t have the resources or desire to handle time-consuming payroll and HR admin tasks for a couple employees.

How much does it cost?

Clients pay a percentage of gross payroll on each invoice for our services. Additional services like background checks, salary benchmarking or HR advice are also available for an additional fee. Once we understand your needs, we will provide a proposal with specific costs but many clients, especially those in the US, find it cheaper and easier than setting up a local entity or relocating talent.

Who manages and provides day to day direction for employees?

You provide the day-to-day direction, deadlines and resources, as well as any training required to make your employee an integrated and productive member of your organization. Bridgewater TI works diligently behind the scenes, and we are always available to answer questions but have minimal impact on daily life of employees, so they feel like any other member of your team.

Do you help find Canadian talent?

Bridgewater TI is not a recruiting agency, but once you’ve found the perfect candidate from the large pool of skilled and experienced workforce in Canada, we can help you seal the deal with a strong offer. We also offer province-specific support from our team of talent integration specialists.
